So, long story short: I went to ALA. Lots of authors, lots of bloggers, lots of signings, lots of arcs. Yep, that pretty much sums it up. I am not cool enough to hang with authors, so most of them I just saw or said hi to or took a picture with. I chatted with some. And saw no one outside of the events because hubs and daughter came with me and sucked up all of my extra time between touring New Orleans and eating Po-Boys and beignets and NOT drinking. That is right, I do NOT drink. If you ever go to NOLA, don't drink. It is known to cause non-sleeping and zombie-like appearance at conferences. Moving on, pics:

How exciting to have gone to ALA 2011 and meet so many amazing authors and bloggers! I am a librarian and I have yet to go to ALA haha--maybe next year I'll make it! Thanks for the post and pics :)
