Waiting On Wednesday (151)

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

PANIC by Sharon Draper

As rehearsals begin for the ballet version of Peter Pan, the teenaged members of an Ohio dance troupe lose their focus when one of their own goes missing.

Ballet + mystery! Sad it's such a short summary. Draper's been in the NYT Bestselling list for a while now with Out of My Mind. I'm glad she's now publishing a YA.

  4. It's my first time hearing about Panic too, but just that brief description is enough to capture my attention. I'll definitely on the lookout for more details about this book!

  6. I do not like this cover! I'm not sure I'm going to read this one when it comes out, at least for not the summary is not enough to catch my interest. I hope you like it, though, when it comes out.

  7. I love that it's about Peter Pan, but I'm not really fan of reading books about ballet. The cover is creepy, but I'm not in love with it. Thanks for sharing though!

  11. My kids have always LOVED Draper's books, especially CopperSun and Out of My Mind. I'll have to look into this one b/c there's always room on my shelf for a good mystery, although I'm not a fan of that cover :)
