Happy NEW YEAR 2011!!

Happy NEW YEAR my dears! I wish you all that each and every dream you have comes true in 2011!

Wrap up:

1. Best book of 2010 - Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

2. Worst book of 2010 - I normally don't finish the books I don't enjoy, but I did finish one this year that I altogether HATED. Since lots of people love it, I wont name it.

3. Most Disappointing Book of 2010 - Same one as above. I was expecting it to be good.

4. Most surprising (in a good way!) book of 2010 - Definitely Unwind by Neal Shusterman, which I just finished and it was majorly mind-blowing!

5. Book you recommended to people most in 2010 - Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

6. Best series you discovered in 2010 - The Summer series by Jenny Han and Ruby Oliver series by E. Lockhart. So happy that it's two contemps. Oh, actually, the Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima was up there with them, and it's High Fantasy.

7. Favorite new authors you discovered in 2010 - Cinda Williams Chima, Jenny Han, E. Lockhart and Julie Anne Peters.

8. Most hilarious read of 2010 - I dont tend to read funny books, but after reading the hilarious Ruby Oliver, I might have to change that. Funniest one was probably the first, The Boyfriends List.

8. Book that made you cry the hardest in 2010 - I'll go with The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. Bawled! Such a shame that, in my opinion, the movie sucked!

9. Most memorable character in 2010 - Etienne St Clair! (Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins)

10. Most thrilling, unputdownable book in 2010 - Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins.

11. Book you most anticipated in 2010 - The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong and again, Mockingjay.

12. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2010 - Matched by Ally Condie.

13. Most beautifully written book in 2010 - Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima

14. Book that had the greatest impact on you in 2010 - By the Time You Read This, I'll be Dead by Julie Anne Peters (also my favorite review that I wrote this year!)

15. Book you can't believe you waited UNTIL 2010 to finally read - The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak

  1. I really need to start Jenny Han's series. I have the first two books sitting on my shelves. I really enjoyed Anna and the French Kiss too.

  2. I read Jenny Han's Summer series recently too. I'm quite eager to get my hands on the third installment. Especially given the last chapter of book 2!

Hope 2011 treats you as well as 2010.

  4. HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D :D
Ooh, I agree with you on so many things here! I could probably guess which one was the worst and the most disappointing for you in 2010. Anyway, I hope you're having a wonderful start to 2011! Loving the 2010/2011 picture ;)

  7. I have a feeling what number 2 & 3 might be :P

I still haven't gotten a chance to get The Summer I Turned Pretty - I'm banning off book buying for the whole month until I get caught up on my review pile BUT it will be the first book I buy in February! Oh and By The Time You Read This I'll Be Dead because that has me written all over it, and I have no clue why I didn't read it last year!
