Claire is a #hopelessromantic. Lottie is determined to set up her BFF with Mr. Perfect. Will wants his #secretcrush to finally notice him. Bennett is a man with a plan.

Claire can’t believe it when her dream guy starts following her on Twitter. She never thought he noticed her, and suddenly he seems to understand her better than almost anyone.

But the Twitterverse can be a confusing place, especially when friends act differently online than they do in person. Things get even more complicated when Claire realizes she’s falling for someone else, the last person she ever would have expected….

As soon as I heard that the book was solely related in tweets, emails and blog entries, I had to get my hands on this book. It looks so cute and even though I had my doubts on whether the format would work, it just ended up leaving me even more curious. I did feel somehow frustrated with the action happening out of our reach, and by that I mean that we know whats happening after it already took place, when the character tweets or talks about it. But other than that I have no complain whatsoever.

The story grabs you from the beginning, I felt instantaneously identified with Clare and her friendship with Lottie; and I think all of us Twitter lovers feel identified with the tweets and the awesome tweetsphere. This was a very cute, very realistic and simple teenage story that makes Tweet Heart the perfect Summer read. The format ended up working perfectly and the ending was adorable. The cover just makes me want to stare at it and read it all over again.

Overall, this book is a very original  new type of reading that any contemporary lover will adore.

  1. Great review! I'm not a huge fan of books written in blogs or emails, but this one sounds great, particularly with the added Tweets!
