Enter Stage Right

NATE. Dashing pirate. Will do anything to protect Bertie.

COBWEB, MOTH, MUSTARD SEED, and PEASEBLOSSOM. Four tiny and incredibly annoying fairies. BERTIE’S sidekicks.

ARIEL. Seductive air spirit and Bertie’s weakness. The symbol of impending doom.

BERTIE. Our heroine.

Welcome to the Théâtre Illuminata, where the actors of every play ever written can be found behind the curtain. They were born to play their parts, and are bound to the Théâtre by The Book—an ancient and magical tome of scripts. Bertie is not one of them, but they are her family—and she is about to lose them all and the only home she has ever known.

This book lifts you up and carries you into a whole new world were magical creatures live among us and plays become reality. It's a marvelous read for those magic and theater aficionado. The writing is astonishing, incredible. It seems like you're reading a modern Shakespeare. Every emotion spills out of the pages and becomes contagious. She created a world beyond belief where every place is a stage.

The plot has so many twists and scene changes you feel you're there and the characters are wonderful. Even though, it took me some time to figure out what was going on, once you're into it, you're trapped in the Theater Illuminata alongside the players. The cover is one of the best covers I've seen with a character and it is absolutely fitting. I couldn't have thought of a better cover. It's a completely different book from anything I've read. Definitely recommended.
