Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.
Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
Truly a Disney story. A wonderful, magical book. I loved the writing, it was really simple. Amazing debut! The story is absolutely amazing, I love how she mixes the whole science part. The characters were wonderful, great kids. The story is kind of a fairy tale, with a littlde modern twist, that makes it beautiful.
The cover is cute, the wings are flower petals, which I didn't notice until I had it in my hands. As a debuting author, she was amazing. I can see why people love this book so much, I was mesmerized reading it. It's great how she makes everything magical and beautiful. If you like fairy tales and Disney movies you will truly love this modern, wonderful book.
